The goal of the WGCA is to bring the spot light on cancer – especially to women’s cancer in the hopes that it will be dealt with on a local level. Through partnerships with members of local communities, experts, and like organizations the WGCA attempts to identify real problems, develop and implement programs. The focus is to raise awareness and to build cancer programs that are directed toward prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.
